Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, the RGS-IBG Urban Geography Research Group (UGRG) is thrilled to launch a webinar series on “Global Urban Geographies”!
As its title suggests, this series will delve into the globally interconnected yet differentiated nature of urbanisation, and reflect on the globally diverse sites and sources of urban theory building. It serves as a platform to bring together esteemed scholars specialising in urban research from the field of geography and beyond to share their cutting-edge research encompassing a wide array of urban themes and contexts. Through engaging presentations and discussions, this series seeks to deepen our understanding of the complexities and nuances inherent in global urban geographies and inspire further exploration in this dynamic field.
